As Ambassador of Suriname to Guyana, I am witnessing firsthand the current continuous transformation that Guyana is going through on a daily basis, including the numerous business opportunities which are emerging.
It is my humble view that Suriname and Guyana are navigating through the dynamics in these times of promising developments as newly discovered economic resources offer a bright future. Therefore, by uniting their forces in their common strides towards economic advancements, both countries can achieve sustainable development for their nations and prosperity for their people with positive prospects stemming from concrete undertakings in progressively building their oil and gas industry.
Meanwhile, both countries are aware of the necessity for sustainable use of its natural resources, green development and diversification in the exploitation of those resources while working on energy efficiency.
