I wish to congratulate ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. on the publication of this 5th edition of the Who’s Who in Guyana Business Directory. This publication, through its previous four editions, has been very helpful and indispensable for both local and foreign investors. Guyana’s economy is on a fast growth trajectory and the rapid transformation of the economy would need active assistance to both local and foreign producers and service providers to ensure elevated business activity, while also highlighting the wide variety of services and goods on offer.
As the High Commissioner of India to Guyana, I have witnessed the vibrancy, openness and strength of Guyana’s economy which needs to showcase the diverse range of businesses located in Guyana. We are aware of the importance of transfer/exchange of skills, technology, knowledge, partnership, people to people exchanges, connectivity, capacity building as well as public private partnership in the development of a country. This publication will reflect such efforts and give a boost for business expansion within the country.
