BK International Inc (BK) Guyana's largest privately-owned indigenous construction company was registered in 1993. It is the successor entity to B & K Transportation and Construction services which started operations 10 years earlier. BK now owns the largest pool of construction and transportation assets in Guyana, comprising over 400 hundred pieces of equipment, of all types. We have completed major projects funded by private, government and international funding agencies. The head office of BK Group of Companies is situated in Water Street, Kingston obliquely opposite Transport and Harbor Department. This facility is also home to one of our sister companies, BK Supermix suppliers of ready mix concrete with PSI ranging from 3000 to 6000. At the 'Stock Yard,' there is off-loading of 'crush and run' stones from BK Quarries, which is transported by BK Marines, both of which are subsidiaries.
