Thirty years ago, ANSA McAL Trading Ltd (AMTL) was established in Guyana as the first regional subsidiary company of the ANSA McAL Group of Companies in Trinidad & Tobago. In 1992 when the company began its operations in Guyana, it offered just a handful of products. Today, AMTL is a one hundred per cent Guyanese managed company that provides direct and indirect employment to over 300 employees through a diverse distribution platform with principal divisions ranging from Beverages, Consumer Products, Procter & Gamble, Pharmaceuticals, and Construction Solutions.
